Light Therapy: What It Supports — and When It Makes Sense

Polychromatic Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light applied to the body or eyes to support how the body produces energy, recovers, and regulates.


It is simple in practice:


light is applied → the body responds.

What Light Therapy Does in the Body

When light reaches the body, it can support:


  • more efficient cellular energy production 
  • muscle and tissue relaxation 
  • improved circulation in the area 
  • a shift out of high-alert states 
  • more stable sleep–wake rhythms 


Most people don’t feel a strong effect during the session.


Changes are usually noticed afterward or over time.

What People Use Light Therapy For

Light therapy is often used when there is a clear area or function to support, such as:


  • low or inconsistent energy 
  • muscle tension or physical strain 
  • recovery after injury or exertion 
  • sleep difficulties 
  • localized discomfort or slow recovery 


It works best when the goal is specific and targeted.

Light Therapy and Quantum Biofeedback — How They Work Together

The two approaches serve different roles:


  • Quantum Biofeedback identifies where the body is under the most strain and supports regulation at a system level 


  • Light Therapy provides direct support to specific areas or functions 


They are often used together:


  • biofeedback helps determine where support is needed 


  • light therapy helps reinforce recovery in those areas 


One does not replace the other.


They work best when used with clear purpose.
